Great place. Delicious super fresh oysters saved my vacation. We visited this restaurant twice for lunch and dinner. I really liked the location on the balcony , the beautiful view and the atmosphere. Waiters are very attentive. Everything is fast. even the fact that we had to wait for a table in the evening was a pleasant pastime. There is also a marina for great photos and a bar with cocktails for those who wish. A screen with football, a beach where children have fun. I highly recommend it. I already miss these oysters.

Wow!! What an amazing place! So many locals referred me to this place and it is not disappoint!! We walked the docks while waiting for a table and did happy hour while waiting. The mojitos were incredible!! After getting seated, the rains came and the wait staff was quick to seat us. Have the fried green tomatoes ( the caramelized nuts were to die for) and the red snapper that the Cheif is known for and you won’t be disappointed!! Such a great space, atmosphere and wait staff! Highly recommended!

By far our FAVORITE place to eat while in Destin! Must Get the Oysters Boshamp (?)…… you’re welcome! And the fish ../. Hands down the freshest and best fish I’ve ever had in my life and the Alabama land cake ….SCRUMPTIOUS!! I had it with every single meal we had and we ate there every day for lunch but sadly only once for dinner due to it being extremely busy. Only complaint is that they do not take reservations as when you are on vacation, you don’t want to waste 2-3 hrs waiting to get it. Either take reservations or open at another location in the area! This place had the best food and service! Meals were wonderful and came out piping hot! Emmy G, our server, was fabulous! She had time to chat, kept our drinks filled and was upbeat and so sweet. Not to mention our grandsons thought she was very pretty ????. Very clean, great views and love the dog friendly decor! Thanks for a great dinner. Farm to table & fresh catch of the day!

We arrive for dinner around 8ish and the hostess told us that they stop seating people for the night but we can find a spot at the bar for our family of 4. 2 adults and 2 kids. We ended up finding two seat at the outside bar. So we sat the kids, observed the area and then decided to stay and order. By the time we got our food the other guest was getting up to leave. They offered us their seats. The food came out right on time. The food was a 10/10, the atmosphere was a vibe. Great waitress . Definitely was happy that we waited around and decide not to leave!

OMG! The fried green tomatoes were delish! ...but ... the pan roasted grouper ???? was to die for! 10/10 recommend! The atmosphere was fun. It stays packed, but you have several waiting options. You can choose to wait at the bar (there's two of them) or outside to enjoy the view & live music. -or- simply wait on a text that your table to ready.

Wow after 7 years of leaving reviews this was the best fish dish I have every had! I ordered the grilled Grouper with the feta cheese soufflé at it was incredible! The pecan crusted grouper was also very good. The crab and corn chowder was a great starter. Service was good but the food was just amazing. Get there early as it gets very busy but you can enjoy a drink in the outside bar while you wait. This is our new go to restaurant in Destin as there we at least 4-5 more dishes we wanted to try.

We got there in a Tuesday afternoon around 5 pm and although it was a 2 hour wait for a table it wasn’t a long wait because they have a private beach where you can go and get yourself a drink and enjoy the view while waiting. Great food , great service ! Definitely will be back!

Matthew (Grits) provided incredible service- he made our experience. He did so with his recommendations, sweet spirit, and attentive service. Next time I visit I want to sit at the bar to have him again! Happy to visit. Plus, the “original” was 10/10 (per his recommendation.)

My family and I, arrived in Destin this afternoon from Atlanta, and Boshamps came highly recommended. I, had the original fresh oysters for starters, and the original snapper for main, the children did the same, and the chef's special for my husband! All were really delicious! The original snapper had the perfect combination of flavors and a crunch of nuts to tie it all together! The original vision of the place to provide the authentic gulf to table is realized in each bite of food on the plate. You will not regret choosing the options I mentioned! A little pricey at $48 a plate, and if you add a starter, drink and desert, you are looking at $85 - 100 easy! but you are paying for an experience, because that is what it is! The view is another thing! Choose the outdoors seating for the best view of the gulf waters and expensive boats!!
